Commonwealth v. W.N., Circuit Court, Fairfax County, Virginia.
W.N. was indicted on, among other things, 4 counts of Identity Theft for allegedly stealing the identity of his landlord and using his landlord's checks to steal thousands of dollars from his landlord's bank account. Despite video surveillance from the bank where the checks were cashed and substantial forensic evidence, including fingerprint evidence, which implicated W.N. in the theft, W.N. was found Not Guilty.
