NOT GUILTY
United States v. B.J., United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia at Alexandria.
Mr. B.J. was charged with, among other things, Carrying a Firearm in a relation to a Drug Trafficking Offense, a charge that carries a possible sentence of 40 years in the penitentiary. After a 5 day jury trial during which government informants testified that B.J. carried the gun as protection to 20 kilogram cocaine transaction and the government proved that the gun in question was registered to B.J.'s wife, the jury nevertheless found B.J. Not Guilty.
